Beautiful Waterfront Home - Key West

Some people think that Key West must have a lot of waterfront homes. That is not the case. In fact there are few single family homes on the island which are actually located on waters edge. When I find a place with a great view or some unique feature I feel compelled to share it with my readers in hope someone will call me to help them find their dream home in Paradise.

I recently showed 2621 Gulfview Drive in the Roosevelt Annex addition to Key West. What a house this is and what a view it has! The three bedroom 2 1/2 bath house has 1720 sq ft of easy living space on two floors plus front and rear decks on the first and second floors. The house, shown above, is located near the western end of the development and has beautiful open water views from both rear decks. My potential buyers were just awed by the water views as soon as we entered the house.

The listing Realtor describes the property this way:
"The Best Of All Worlds. Private Gated Community And One Of The Very Few Key West Homes Where You Actually Own The Shoreline. Pool And Decks Directly On The Open Gulf With The Option Of A Private Dock. Quality Custom Built Home With Top Of The Line Finishes. This Home Must Be Seen Because Their Is Little To Compare It To. The Best That Key West Lifestyle Has To Offer."

CLICK HERE to see the mls datasheet on this house. Better yet, please call me, Gary Thomas, 305-766-2642, to schedule an appointment to see 2621 Gulfview Drive that is listed at $849,000. If you don't realize the value of this house and this location, CLICK HERE to see the other Key West single family homes with water views. Compare the views and prices. That second click should do the trick.

Gary Thomas in a Nutshell

My photo
Key West, Florida, United States
I first read about Key West in a magazine called "After Dark" sometime in the mid 1970's. But it wasn't until March 1984 that I made my first visit to the island that would become my home. I had two weeks for a vacation and reserved a room at Colours Guesthouse (now Marrero's Guest House) for one week. I thought that if I didn't like Key West, I could always go back to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale for the rest of my trip. But after a couple of days in Key West, that was no longer a consideration. But when I wanted to extend my stay for the extra week I found there was no room at the inn. The guesthouse owner did find me a room at LaTeDa, the infamous guesthouse/restaurant. That's a story I'll write another day. But those two weeks in Key West gave me the realization that I had found Paradise. Key West has been my home since 1993 and my only regret is that it took me so long to get here. I am a full time Realtor at Preferred Properties CRI. Let me help you find your new home or business in Paradise. Living in Paradise is not a slogan, it's a way of life.
