2430 Fogarty Avenue - Key West - Estate Sale

2430 Fogarty Avenue - Key West

Just listed, but not by me, 2430 Fogarty Avenue in Key West. The listing agent describes the property this way:
"Perfect home for a small family, this renovated CBS has a 2 bedroom/1 bath main house, and a 1/1 attached efficiency. Boasting a concrete fence streetside, the spacious front yard is nicely landscaped with a magnificent Bismark palm, and a brick walkway and brick drive and carport. This home also features tiled floors, laundry room with washer/dryer, and a 12x13 work/storage shed on a concrete slab. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, bullnosed granite counter tops and fine wood & glass cabinets. Metal Bahama shutters. Sliding gate for the carport. Back patio area is partially covered."

This 1330 sq ft home has three bedrooms and two baths plus the mother-in-law apartment mentioned above. Oh, and the yard is immense: 5,000 sq ft (50'x100'). There is plenty of room for a pool in the backyard. The front yard is enclosed from the street by a privacy fence. There is even a covered carport which is accessed via a rolling gate. The front entryway and driveway have brick pavers and the area is lit at night. The landscaping is very simple and quite beautiful. Gary Thomas in a Nutshell

My photo
Key West, Florida, United States
I first read about Key West in a magazine called "After Dark" sometime in the mid 1970's. But it wasn't until March 1984 that I made my first visit to the island that would become my home. I had two weeks for a vacation and reserved a room at Colours Guesthouse (now Marrero's Guest House) for one week. I thought that if I didn't like Key West, I could always go back to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale for the rest of my trip. But after a couple of days in Key West, that was no longer a consideration. But when I wanted to extend my stay for the extra week I found there was no room at the inn. The guesthouse owner did find me a room at LaTeDa, the infamous guesthouse/restaurant. That's a story I'll write another day. But those two weeks in Key West gave me the realization that I had found Paradise. Key West has been my home since 1993 and my only regret is that it took me so long to get here. I am a full time Realtor at Preferred Properties CRI. Let me help you find your new home or business in Paradise. Living in Paradise is not a slogan, it's a way of life.
