13 Kingfisher Lane, Key West Golf Club Community

Just listed by Preferred Properties Key West (that's where I work but this is not my listing) 13 Kingfisher Lane at the Key West Golf Club. The listing broker describes the home this way:
"Great find at the Key West Golf Club. This lovely 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home is an end unit with broad wrap around porches and views of the golf course and the nature preserve. Located on a quaint, quiet cul de sac, this unit is move in ready. The kitchen features solid wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, granite counters and opens to the dining and living areas. French doors open to the wrap around porch which offers a lovely space for outdoor dining and entertaining. The en suite master bedroom/bath offer privacy and comfort. There are two more guest bedrooms, a full bath plus a convenient half bath is located on the first floor. This gated community surrounds a Reese Jones designed 18 hole golf course complete with a club house plus two wonderful resort style pools, a well equipped workout room and 24 hour security all in a beautifully landscaped setting. Close to all that Key West has to offer. A perfect home for those who wants more space and privacy at a great price."
Twin sets of French doors expand the main floor living area out to the wrap-around porch that over looks the adjacent nature preserve. The screen enclosed rear porch has views of the golf course.

The home has new hardwood floors on the main floor, new kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and custom cabinetry. There is even a built-in breakfast bar.
A unique feature to this unit is the half bath plus hidden laundry room located on main floor. Bi-fold doors open from inside the bath to reveal the laundry which is cleverly hidden away under the staircase. This is feature unique to this home.

The master bedroom with en-suite bath are located at the rear of the home on the second floor. The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling which dramatically expands the living space but still keeps the space in perspective to the home as a whole. Recently installed impact windows look out to the golf course. There are two more bedrooms plus a shared bath on the second floor.
The Key West Golf Club has two community pools, one which is GI-normous, the community center and fitness center (included in the HOA fees), and expertly maintained streets and grounds that make this place so picture-perfect.  You will enjoy driving home through the lovely tree lined streets with each house having a white picket fence and differing architecture.  13 Kingfisher Lane is unique unto itself and it is pretty as a picture to boot.
The Key West Golf Club is an 18 hole public golf course.  CLICK HERE to view MORE PHOTOS of my new listing.

Gary Thomas in a Nutshell

My photo
Key West, Florida, United States
I first read about Key West in a magazine called "After Dark" sometime in the mid 1970's. But it wasn't until March 1984 that I made my first visit to the island that would become my home. I had two weeks for a vacation and reserved a room at Colours Guesthouse (now Marrero's Guest House) for one week. I thought that if I didn't like Key West, I could always go back to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale for the rest of my trip. But after a couple of days in Key West, that was no longer a consideration. But when I wanted to extend my stay for the extra week I found there was no room at the inn. The guesthouse owner did find me a room at LaTeDa, the infamous guesthouse/restaurant. That's a story I'll write another day. But those two weeks in Key West gave me the realization that I had found Paradise. Key West has been my home since 1993 and my only regret is that it took me so long to get here. I am a full time Realtor at Preferred Properties CRI. Let me help you find your new home or business in Paradise. Living in Paradise is not a slogan, it's a way of life.
