Two separately owned Transient Licensed units at the La Casa de Luces Condominium located at 422 Amelia Street in Key West were just listed at the asking price of $589,000 each.  This seven unit building is located about 200 feet west of Duval Street. Returning guests will love this just-off-Duval location. The listing Realtor describes the units this way:
"Transient License! Beautifully renovated one bedroom and one bath condo in La Casa de Luces Condominium consisting of 7 units. Situated in the heart of Old Town Key West this large Victorian features wide open wrap around porches and high ceilings. This unit has been completely renovated with modern furnishings, laminate wood flooring, new appliances, electrical and Mitsubishi A/C and heat. Just steps to Duval Street. Surrounded by galleries, restaurants and entertainment. Water, cable and electric are included in the monthly maintenance fee."
Unit #2 pictured above is a 514 square foot first floor unit. This unit has a small living area and larger bedroom area than the other unit. Both units have tall ceilings and vibrant decoration. Notice the abundant closet space and tidy kitchen. Guests may use the front porch as the perfect perch for people watching. When this unit was previously listed I asked the guests how they enjoyed their experience. They said they had stayed in the same unit before. They loved the unit and the location that is so close to Duval Street. CLICK HERE to view the Key West mls datasheet for more information and to view more photos.
Unit #6, pictured immediately above, is a one bedroom unit with 405 square feet of living space. This unit has a much larger informal living area and a smaller bedroom than the first floor unit. Gary Thomas in a Nutshell

My photo
Key West, Florida, United States
I first read about Key West in a magazine called "After Dark" sometime in the mid 1970's. But it wasn't until March 1984 that I made my first visit to the island that would become my home. I had two weeks for a vacation and reserved a room at Colours Guesthouse (now Marrero's Guest House) for one week. I thought that if I didn't like Key West, I could always go back to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale for the rest of my trip. But after a couple of days in Key West, that was no longer a consideration. But when I wanted to extend my stay for the extra week I found there was no room at the inn. The guesthouse owner did find me a room at LaTeDa, the infamous guesthouse/restaurant. That's a story I'll write another day. But those two weeks in Key West gave me the realization that I had found Paradise. Key West has been my home since 1993 and my only regret is that it took me so long to get here. I am a full time Realtor at Preferred Properties CRI. Let me help you find your new home or business in Paradise. Living in Paradise is not a slogan, it's a way of life.
