This building was built in 1948. The unit itself is 1353 square feet of interior living space under air conditioning. It flows just like a home. The main floor includes the living room, kitchen and dining area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Note the Brazilian Cherry hardwood floors which are located on both floors.
Each of the three bedrooms was updated to include custom closet organizers to provide maximum storage. All of the furnishings shown in these photos are included in the purchase price.
If you look carefully you'll notice a few pieces of the crown molding over the kitchen cabinets are missing. They are on order and will get installed shortly. The kitchen is dazzling!  I dare you to find anything this sharp in town for this price. White Shaker custom cabinets are accentuated by Carrara marble counters and mosaic glass and stainless tile back splash. Note also the Samsung stainless steel appliances. There is a large pantry tucked behind the doors at the side of the dining area.
New impact glass sliding doors and some windows were replaced during the renovation process. The rear deck is the perfect private retreat to enjoy this spacious area.
There are two bedrooms on the second floor. Both have abundant closet space and custom closet organizers. Bahama shutters provide filtered light to enter the rooms as well privacy.  The extra large bath features travertine marble floors and wall plus glass mosaic accent tiles. The laundry are is included in the bath. CLICK HERE to view more photos of this unit.
One of the many joys of living in the Casa Marina Area is the walking proximity to Higgs Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. I took the three above this morning. Tourists were walking on the White Street pier taking photos of the sunrise. One guy had a beautiful German Shepard out on his morning walk. An older guy was tending to his two tiny dogs in the Doggie Park. Key West was coming alive. A cruise ship was heading toward Key West for a day of exploration.  Later today the beach will come alive creating new memories for locals and tourists alike..

Gary Thomas in a Nutshell

My photo
Key West, Florida, United States
I first read about Key West in a magazine called "After Dark" sometime in the mid 1970's. But it wasn't until March 1984 that I made my first visit to the island that would become my home. I had two weeks for a vacation and reserved a room at Colours Guesthouse (now Marrero's Guest House) for one week. I thought that if I didn't like Key West, I could always go back to Miami or Ft. Lauderdale for the rest of my trip. But after a couple of days in Key West, that was no longer a consideration. But when I wanted to extend my stay for the extra week I found there was no room at the inn. The guesthouse owner did find me a room at LaTeDa, the infamous guesthouse/restaurant. That's a story I'll write another day. But those two weeks in Key West gave me the realization that I had found Paradise. Key West has been my home since 1993 and my only regret is that it took me so long to get here. I am a full time Realtor at Preferred Properties CRI. Let me help you find your new home or business in Paradise. Living in Paradise is not a slogan, it's a way of life.
