Four Ocean Front Condos For Sale at Key West By the Sea

There are now four ocean front condominiums available for purchase at Key West by the Sea. That;s a first in my recollection. There are usually a few units available in this three unit that includes two pools, tennis courts, tropical and orchid gardens. This is an opportunity for buyers to compare four units by size, condition, height, and price in real time so that they can make the best choice. I am going to list each unit by address number which you may click to read the MLS description and view MLS listing photos.
The Key West by the Seas condos are separated from the Atlantic Ocean by guest parking area, South Roosevelt Boulevard, the dunes of Smathers Beach and then the beach itself. The Island of Key West is itself protected from the tides by the coral reef which extends for miles into the ocean. The reef helps control waters so that we do not get hit by massive tidal waves seen elsewhere. The ocean here has a green tint that changes by hour as do the clouds. Van Gogh could have made Key West famous for its starry nights, sunny days with pillowy clouds, and stranger days with brooding skies.


2601 S Roosevelt Blvd 604A Key West is a 704 sq ft one bedroom one bath top floor condominium offered at $575,000 or $876 per sq ft. It is being sold furnished and "turn key". The unit has been renovated and has new kitchen, bath, tile floors, and mini-split air conditioning. Unit includes adjacent storage room included in purchase price. The HOA fees vary depending on unit. The HOA fees on this unit are $519.57 per month and include all building insurances, common area maintenance, basic cable tv. security, and professional management. 


2601 S Roosevelt Blvd 501A Key West is a 980 sq ft two bedroom one bath fifth floor unit on the west end of the A building. It has direct ocean views from the master bedroom, living room balcony plus window views looking west from the living room and kitchen. When I showed this unit I compared it in size to a two story town home at President's Walk in the Truman Annex. The difference is all of the living space is on one level so there is more actual living space here than there. And the price of this condo is much less. This unit is offered at $590,000 or $602 per sq ft.  The HOA fees are $612.56 This unit is subject to a lease that expires June1, 2020  The lease cannot be cancelled. The seller will assign the lease to the purchaser. New owners may not lease their units for at least one year after purchase. This in place lease would be excluded from that rule. All rentals must be at least 60 days or longer. This policy insulated KWBS from the wave of investor foreclosures that affected many places in Key West several years ago. 
2601 S Roosevelt Blvd 504A Key West is a 754 sq ft one bedroom one bath fifth floor ocean front condo offered at $480,000 or $636 per sq ft. The HOA fees on this unit are $499.92. This unit is also subject to an existing lease that expires in June. All of the units in Building A are going to get new wind impact windows and doors plus new ductless air conditioning installed at no cost to the owner of the condominium association. The replacement is part of the Federal Aviation Administration program to mitigate impact from the Key West airport. 


2601 S Roosevelt Blvd 202A Key West is a 980 sq ft two bedroom one bath second floor ocean front condo offered at $575,000 or $586 per sq ft.  The HOA fees on this unit are $546.52. This unit has an updated kitchen, new bath, and new floors.

109 Front Street No. 112, Key West - Harbour Place Waterfront Condominium

There are seven distinct communities at Truman Annex in Key West. The one with the Million Dollar Views is Harbour Place Condominiums. If you are reading my blog you may be considering the purchase of a home or condo in Key West - perhaps you are looking for the perfect place to retire to in a few years. Or maybe you are just looking for a safe place to invest some excess cash in the hope that it will multiply in value as our economy prospers in the years to come. You probably want a place where you can enjoy all that Key West has to offer and make some money along the way to help pay for that investment. The new condominium listing at 109 Front Street, Unit No. 109 at the Harbour Place Condominiums in Key West may be the place you have been hoping to find. All a new owner needs to do is re-activate the Transient License which permits up to 26 weekly rentals each year.
When you step onto your the expansive private balcony and overlook the boardwalk and then view the private yachts and giant ships and Sunset Key beyond you will know that you came out just fine. Take a look at this immaculate 1350 square foot two bedroom two and one-half bath designer condominium where nothing has been left to chance.
Upon opening the front door you enter into a vestibule you immediately notice the new wood floors and tray ceiling. As you look toward the living room you will see that space also has a tray ceiling. This also the perfect place to watch nightly sunset. You and your guests can nurse your favorite cocktails as the sun sets.
This luxurious waterfront condominium can be purchased fully furnished including all the little brick-a-brac.  I opened the kitchen cabinets to determine the quality of the cabinetry. The base and upper level cabinets are nothing but the finest. The basket-woven inset in the upper level cabinets sits behind glass. I suppose a new owner could remove this to add a new insert or take it out entirely to create an entirely different look. The base cabinets have extra-wide draws for storing all mater of things one might use to create a meal on those nights you decide to dine at home rather than going out to one a dozens of wonderful Key West eateries. Note the cute little bar sink located to the side.
The living room has wrap-around windows that look out to the expansive deck which overlooks the waterfront. Note again how the tray ceiling helps define the separation between the living room from the dining area and entry hall. Little things like crown molding, built-in sound system, and high-end light switches distinguish this unit from the standard fare. 1500 Atlantic Boulevard Unit 108, Key West - Oceanfront Living at It's Best

Key West is a little island at the tail end of America - the southernmost point in the continental United States. You'd think a lot homes here would be located by the water. The fact of the matter is that very few are. There are perhaps ten or so single family homes located on the water. The condominiums at the Key West Beach Club are the only condominiums where each unit has a spectacular direct water front location. 
As soon as you enter this unit your eyes are drawn to the ocean view which faces south. You see the horizon where water and sky meet. Giant palms punctuate the view. If you look to the west you'll see the White Street Pier where the annual 4th of July Fireworks display occurs.
