This compact home was on our Realtor Caravan last week. There were a lot of ooh's and aah's as Realtors walked thru this adorable home. I was skeptical at first because I had seen another unit years ago when it was offered as a bank foreclosure. That place had been ignored. But this place has been
"adored". Let's look at the inside.
The living area is compact. No doubt about that. But it has all the essentials packed into a very attractive space. The place is offered fully furnished. There is nothing for a new home owner to do except, maybe, replace the dinosaur television sets.
The bedroom is a delight. It's large enough to accommodate a king size bed and still move about the room. The bathroom is clean as a whistle. The tiled shower is pristine. But it is the door in the bedroom that will pique your interest in this place. It opens out to the pool at the rear which is shared by just the two ground level units. They share the cost of maintenance which is not included in the very affordable condo fees of $211 per month which includes all insurances.
815 Pearl Street is located two blocks north of Bayview Park, Key West's main city park. This is where the city hosts several civic events each year. There are tennis courts, a baseball field, lots of trees including several spectacular Royal Poincianas which are about to bloom. The hustle and bustle of Duval is a ten to twelve minute walk or a short bike ride.

This is an Old Town home unlike any you have seen before in this blog or in person, of that I am sure. It is definitely worth a look if you are a buyer seeking a really nice home in a good location with a pool and off street parking which is offered at a reasonably affordable price. The house itself was built new in 1958. It is a CBS house with stucco finish with 1312 sq ft of air conditioned living space situated on a 50' X 106' lot.
Although the house has been updated, some original features such as the Cuba tile floors remain to add character to this home. In fact the firs thing I noticed when I entered this home was the floors which are in impeccable condition. The living room alcove is to the left of the front entry. The bedrooms are located to the right. As you pass through the dining area French doors come into view and after that the covered patio and pool emerge.

Just Listed 101 Petronia Street in Key West. This house was built new in 2004 and has a lot of features home buyers are looking for including a pool and off street parking.
The listing Realtor describes this Bank Owned property this way:

So here's the skinny on this house. The house was built new in 2004. It is a two story two bedroom and two and one-half bath home with 1240 sq ft of living space that sits on an irregular lot that measures 1945 sq ft. The interiors suggest to me that this house has many quality finishes you don't normally see in a lot of newly built houses anywhere in Key West.  That means to me that the prior owner really took pride of ownership in this property. Again you need to look at the photos for the details built into this home.  It starts at the front gate where you see the attention to detail that flows through this home.
There is a nice side yard on the west side of the house with a gated entry at the front. This yard needs some new landscaping to replace what must have been there before. There several French doors in the living room and great room that open out to this and the rear deck and pool area. Yes, there is a real pool with waterfall at this home. The deck and house all look in very good condition. A home inspection should be ordered but I did not see anything that caused me any concern other than the place needs a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint.
