If you are a boater you could look out from your balcony to see your boat bobbing up and down as it beckons you like an anxious dog to come play. If you don't have a boat, you will just having to settle for watching Key West's incredible ever-changing skies and the nightly sunset views.
Unit No. B 302 is a two bedroom two bath top floor condominium built in 2000. It is offered fully furnished - everything you see in the photos (except one piece of personal art). Otherwise a new owner can move in and start living Key West life to the fullest. This owner is the original owner who has meticulously maintained the place and only occasionally used. Everything is spotless. The unit has never been rented.
The master bedroom has waterfront view and even a quick exit door that opens out to the balcony. The bathroom has a dual sinks, a bathtub large enough for two to bathe, and a shower. The guest bedroom and bath offer much more space than you can get in a Shipyard Condominium that is comparably priced. CLICK HERE to view more photos of this unit, the marina, and the complex which includes a clubhouse, covered spa, and swimming pool. The boardwalk spans the four building complex where each unit has direct water views.
All units have an assigned covered under building parking space, an assigned storage room, plus use of abundant guest parking. Compare the extra parking to 1800 Atlantic units where guest parking is sparse and Truman Annex where there is negligible guest parking. Condominium fees are affordable at $1500 per quarter. Fees pay all building insurance, building maintenance, security, pool maintenance, and cable television. The insurance fees are low because the buildings were built to the highest Florida building code adopted after Hurricane Andrew. The buildings are concrete with Hardiboard siding plus impact windows and doors throughout. Gated security restricts public access.

109 Front Street No. 112, Key West - Harbour Place Waterfront Condominium
When you step onto your the expansive private balcony and overlook the boardwalk and then view the private yachts and giant ships and Sunset Key beyond you will know that you came out just fine. Take a look at this immaculate 1350 square foot two bedroom two and one-half bath designer condominium where nothing has been left to chance.
Upon opening the front door you enter into a vestibule you immediately notice the new wood floors and tray ceiling. As you look toward the living room you will see that space also has a tray ceiling. These features are not common features at Harbour Place. This is an unexpected upgrade. If you look to your left you see the bedroom wing. If your right you will see the custom kitchen with a breakfast bar that opens into the living area. While this place is grand, it is not stuffy. It is designed for comfortable and luxurious living.
This is not your ordinary master suite. This master suite has a formal entry hall that leads past the es-suite bath into the bedroom chamber. The bath has a handsome vanity, jetted marble bath, and shower. The bedroom has two walls of windows where Plantation Shutters provide muted views of the waterfront looking past the Fort Zachary Taylor to the south and Sunset Key to the northwest. A door leads from the bedroom out to the deck where you can sip your morning coffee or take a breath of fresh air before you go to bed.
The guest bedroom and bath are located at the far end of the hallway. What a great place this would be for your guests to snuggle. When I pulled back the Plantation Shutters I got to see two huge cruise ships as passengers disembarked to enjoy their day in Key West. When I photographed a two different units last year neither berth had a cruise ship. It was especially enjoyable for me to see these huge floating hotels outside the window. Water views change daily if not hourly. I think your guests would fall in love with watching people from around the world come to spend a day in Key West. This also the perfect place to watch nightly sunset. You and your guests can nurse your favorite cocktails as the sun sets.
109 Front Street No 109 is offered for sale at $1,375,000. CLICK HERE to view the Key West mls datasheet for more information. Then please call me, Gary Thomas, 305-766-2642 to schedule a private showing to see this special Harbour Place waterfront condominium. I am a buyers agent and a full time Realtor at Preferred Properties Key West.

1010 Whitehead Street, Key West - Historic Bank Owned Cottage
Just Listed, but not by me, 1010 Whitehead Street, Key West. This unassuming cottage home once belonged to Lawrence Formica who created the world famous La Terraza di' Marti which is less formally known as La Te Da. Today this little home home is Bank Owned.
I looked in my old shoe box and found a photo of 1010 Whitehead Street that was taken in 1965. If you look carefully you will see that the columns supporting the front porch used to be wood and the 1970s-ish concrete block had not been added to the historic house. That kind of addition wouldn't be tolerated today. A new owner could get permission to remove that and take this abode back to its original state or something close to it. I took more photos of the house which you can see if you CLICK HERE.
The front porch would be the perfect perch for people watching. I took these photos in early morning before the tourists got up. Later in the day they will walk by this home on their way to the Hemingway House and the Southernmost Point both of which are located a couple of blocks to the south. Duval Street is located just one block to the east. This is an ideal location for an owner who wants a small place that is within walking distance to all the attractions Old Town has to offer.
This small house efficiently uses all 620 square feet of living space and then some. When you enter the living room you immediately notice the Dade County Pine walls. The vaulted ceiling gives the living space much greater presence. A loft was added to provide additional sleeping space for the occasional guest. Just past the living room you will find the dining area and kitchen. This space is really colorful.
The one and only bedroom is located on the left front part of the house. Entry is currently located thru the kitchen. And the bath is located on the far side of the dining room. Such is life in a small house.
CLICK HERE to view the Key West mls datasheet on 1010 Whitehead Street that is offered at just $331,500. Then please contact me, Gary Thomas, 305-766-2642 to set up a private showing. I am a buyers agent and a full time Realtor at Preferred Properties Key West. I think this house will sell quickly and that there will probably be multiple offers on int. The place needs some work but it does not have to become a total redo. But even if a new owner decided to redo the place from top to bottom and front to back, the expense would be worth it. This place has got a great street presence, a great location, a genuine link to recent Key West history, and it's priced where normal people can buy it and make alternations over the years if not immediately.
