A lot of my Realtor friends are tired of seeing the same sleek kitchens and stainless steel all the time. This place has a link to the past, and it would be a shame to make it into something it was never intended to be. The good thing is that this house already has lots of the features second home buyers are looking for. It may be possible for a new owner to upgrade without going overboard. A good architect and a competent builder should be able to give a new owner useful advice on what works and what needs updated.
