Gary, the quoted text is the most beautiful piece of writing I have ever read in your blog. And that's true whether you wrote it in 2014 or this morning. Thank you Joseph. I remember taking the night time photos around 4:00 AM. My broker was the listing agent. She told me the owner saw me outside at night taking the photos. She was mostly confined to her bed at that time. When I moved to town she was on city commission and very much a part of the community. Age and health happen. She eventually sold the house and moved away. I have seen so many people I knew in the beginning do the same thing - age and move away.
Nobody else has that view.
